Keeping myself busy

I hope I can find a more eloquent way to describe this. The value of a blog is the ability to compress ideas. To take a stray thought and turn it into something memorable. My day job is monotonous and repetitive, leaving lots of time to sit and think. People ask me what I am doing on my computer and I struggle to find a coherent answer.

By the time I publish this I will be married. A stray thought lingered far too long on my mind when someone told me how they broke up with their first partner because the other person only wanted monogamy. In our current society the idea of being ethically nonmonogamous is becoming more and more mainstream. I feel neutral on the subject. As in I feel neither interest or disinterest.

One thing they don’t tell you about getting married is when you start bringing it up in conversation, they will invariably grill you about why you are getting married. This is exhausting to explain over and over again. You don’t know us is the thought that keeps coming to mind. Now that I’m married I no longer feel so consumed with anxiety.
